Prevention: Native Connection Alliance

Through a variety of programs and services, the Cheyenne and Arapaho Native Connection Alliance works to raise awareness in effort to educate and provide prevention through cultural activities and events. If you or someone else is experiencing a mental health crisis, please call or text 988. These programs are designed to help those who may be struggling with depression while also educating others on the signs that a friend or loved one may be dealing with mental health issues and suicidal thoughts. In addition to helping to prevent suicide and helping those fighting depression and mental health issues, the Suicide Prevention program also works to provide help, resources, and intervention to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness.
