This position is under the direct supervision of the Treasurer. The Controller has overall responsibility of the Administration of the financial affairs of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes and prepares the financial analysis of the Tribal Operations.
Will devote 100% of time to provide training, support, and supervision for the development of the charter school proposal; to provide on-going meetings with LEAs and community partners in an effort to identify strategies needed in assisting Cheyenne and Arapaho youth and their families; monitoring and compliance reporting to the STEP Program Project Director.
The Treasurer is under the direct supervision of the Chief of Staff. The Treasurer directs and manages the activities and operations of the Tribes including financial planning and analysis practices, purchasing, budgeting, accounting, debt and project management; reserve policy, and treasury services and activities; to coordinate assigned activities and complex administrative support to the Executive Office. The Treasurer will maintain a wholesome and favorable relationship with the Tribal Members, Legislators, Executive Directors, Program Directors/Coordinators, and Employees.
This position is under the direct supervision of the Controller.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
• Analyze and reconcile balance sheet, revenue, and expense accounts.
• Assist in monthly closing of financial books and audits.
• Maintain fixed assets records including depreciation calculations; tagging and identification; and conducting periodic physical inventory.
• Prepare and Post month end adjusting and year end journal entries.
• Accurate and timely preparation and filing of tax reports and payments.
• Provide support for Payroll, Grants and Contracts, Travel, Purchasing and others as required and approved by the Accounting Manager.
• Monitor and assist as necessary in the periodic account reconciliations of Enterprise accounts.
• Internal audit of account balances.
• Work directly with program managers to resolve reporting issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position will supervise the work of professional compliance officers related to various assignments involving casino regulation and control in order to implement, administer and enforce the Cheyenne Arapaho Gaming Commission Regulations, Tribal Internal Controls (TICS) and the Cheyenne Arapaho Tribal Gaming Ordinance pursuant thereto in order to promote the safety, security and integrity of tribal casino gaming on Cheyenne Arapaho Tribal lands. Reviews, evaluates and makes recommendations concerning compliance investigations, audits, patron disputes and gaming device issues. This position may also conduct studies and compile statistics for program revision and enhancements. The work requires knowledge of compliance and audit policies, procedures and regulations, and supervisory techniques, personnel policies and procedures.
The Highway Safety/Police Officer shall fall under the direct supervision of the Chief of Police of the BIA Law Enforcement Concho Agency and shall primary patrol the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes' service area. Incumbent shall be required to assist in the administration of specific transportation safety goals and transportation satisfy program objectives. Incumbent shall assist in coordinating transportation safety activities with various agencies in collaboration with the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes' Transportation Safety Program. The Highway Safety/Police Officer should be familiar with applicable laws, including local and Tribal, that pertain to various transportation safety aspects, including but not limited to impaired driving, seatbelt safety, bicycle safety and pedestrian safety. The incumbent should possess general knowledge, skills and abilities to assist in organizing safety campaigns that deal with impaired driving, seatbelt safety, bicycle safety and pedestrian safety and the proper protocols and procedures for organizing safety checkpoints.
The Highway Safety/Police Officer will be responsible for assisting in development of database criteria with respect to transportation safety needs and collecting data specifically related to safety issues located on Tribal reserve lands and along routes identified as a potential safety corridor. The Highway Safety/Police Officer shall be required to assist in conducting road safety audits (RSAs) and shall be required to provide crash data that pertains to specific safety concerns and/or potential safety corridors. The Highway Safety/Police Officer shall assist the Transportation Safety Coordinator in identifying routes and/or in the assessment of routes in which to implement safety countermeasures and improve safety.
The Highway Safety/Police Officer:
• Responds to calls concerning felonies, emergencies, traffic accidents, drug charges, altercations and misdemeanors under Federal, State, local and tribal laws;
• Investigates, apprehends, arrests, and details all persons charged with violations;
• Maintains law and order within the area of assignments by patrolling in a patrol vehicle, investigating suspicious situations, and taking action as appropriate;
• Performs such assignments as working radar on busy highways, participating in night surveillance in high crime areas, and participating in traffic and crowd control activities;
• Makes arrests in cases of crime or misdemeanors personally witnessed;
• Takes persons arrested to appropriate authorities for booking or formal charging;
• Serves Federal, State, local or tribal warrants, subpoenas and other court papers;
• Testifies at hearings and trials as an expert witness in Federal, State, local or tribal courts as required;
• Prepares and submits reports of incidents or traffic accidents, daily and weekly activities, and narratives and statistical reports as required;
• Organizes and leads safety activities such as seat belt safety campaigns, distracted driving campaigns, impaired driving campaigns, defensive driving campaigns, victims impact panels, safe drivers program initiatives, vehicle inspections, and occupational safety awareness campaigns;
• Must possess the ability to speak in public forums to express transportation safety goals and objectives;
• Must be willing to adhere to Tribes' established COVID-19 Protocols in the performance of duties and tasks;
• Must be willing to work beyond normal hours to provide transportation safety information and conduct safety activities through community meetings and other events;
• Maintains confidentiality of all records, files, documents, etc. for all aspects of the Tribal Transportation Safety Program where applicable
The General Laborer shall fall under the direct supervision of the Foreman/Field Supervisor and general supervision of the Lead Equipment Operator/Laborer and Lead Laborer/Equipment Operator of the Roads Maintenance Program and shall primarily be responsible for performing roads maintenance activities. The General Laborer shall be tasked with mowing grass, trimming trees and/or brush, weed-eating around various structures, using a chainsaw to cut limbs, and/or using other power tools or machinery to maintain ROW of streets, parking lots, and sidewalks located on Tribal lands, and placement of sign posts and signs per MUTCD guidelines. The General Laborer must be able to interpret maps to locate various work sites, able to load equipment, tools, and machinery necessary to perform work assignments correctly, and able to ensure safety measures and use of proper PPE when performing work assigned. The General Laborer will also be relied on to assist in the construction of driveways to residential homes and should be familiar with measuring sites as accurate as possible to develop scopes of works and schedule of quantities for the Driveway Assistance Program.
Under the direct supervision of the Program Coordinator and Prevention Program Director, Caseworkers will be responsible for providing intake and assessment of client applications received by the program. Caseworkers will complete required paperwork during in person or telephone interviews, make professional determinations concerning mental health referrals to partners for help, document case actions for each individual care assessed, and participate in monthly staff meetings/trainings
Under the direction and supervision of the Project Coordinator and Prevention Director, the Mental Health Specialist will provide case and condition management services to members with behavioral health concerns. They will support and promote service environment for individuals in need of behavioral health, coordinate with partners concerning the behavioral health needs of clients and family members, and assist clients in finding and assessing community resources needed to maintain independency communicative.
This position will be under the direction of the Project Director for the Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribes Pathways To Community Living Program. The purpose of this position is to perform professional nursing duties and education that are directly related in a community based outreach setting.

The A/P Tech position is under the direct supervision of the A/P Manager. Incumbent will perform the day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner sustaining the integrity of recorded documentation, and reviewing for accounts payable errors.
The A/P Clerk position is under the direct supervision of the AP Manager or other designated staff, the incumbent has the responsibility of assisting, maintaining and implementing daily, tasks, policies and procedures of the Accounts Payable Office related assigned duties.
