Higher Education
The Higher Education Scholarship Program may provide scholarship assistance to any enrolled Cheyenne and Arapaho tribal citizen.
The Higher Education Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to enrolled Cheyenne and Arapaho tribal citizens who are working toward a college degree. Eligible students may live anywhere in the United States and must be attending an accredited college or university while actively pursuing at least an associate degree.
Students are not eligible for funding if they attend schools that are not accredited, for-profit institutions, or programs that do not offer transferable college-level general education courses (such as many vocational or technical certificate programs). Additionally, the Higher Education Scholarship Program can only fund one of each degree type per student. For example, if a student receives funding for and completes a bachelor’s degree, they cannot receive funding for a second bachelor’s degree. However, they may apply for funding to pursue the next degree level, such as a master’s degree.
