School Clothing Program
The Cheyenne and Arapaho School Clothing Program was established to provide tribal students, between the ages of 3-18, with funds to purchase clothing for school.
The School Clothing Program is to provide supplemental assistance to enrolled Cheyenne and Arapaho tribal youth to ensure they have school clothing before the new academic year. This program is to ease the financial challenges faced by tribal families, promote school readiness, and support the well-being and success of our youth. By investing in our students, we honor our commitment to education, tradition, and community empowerment.
Eligibility: Students that are currently enrolled Cheyenne and Arapaho members, age 3 (must turn 3 by Sept. 1) through 18 years of age, enrolled in Head Start through High School for the 2026-2027 academic school year, are eligible to receive supplemental assistance to purchase clothing for the upcoming school year. Homeschooled students are not eligible. No pending tribal enrollment applications are to be accepted.
AWARD AMOUNTS: Head Start-5th Grade: $200.00 / 6th Grade-12th Grade: $300.00
The School Clothing Program uses a Visa prepaid card, that is provided to you by the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes School Clothing Program in partnership with Convenient Cards, Inc. After approval the visa cards will take up to 3 weeks to receive. The card(s) will be mailed directly to you from Convenient Cards, Inc. Please ensure the mailing address on your application is correct, any changes after approval and processing of the application cannot be changed. Your visa prepaid card requires activation by you before use.
A reminder the Convenient Cards will be allowed for clothing items only, at any retail store that accepts VISA cards.
